Napalm Death has released the music video for their new single “Amoral”. The track is part of the band's upcoming album, Throes Of Joy In The Jaws Of Defeatism , which will be released on September 18th by Century Media Records.

Speaking about the idea behind the song and the video directed by Michael Panduro , vocalist Mark “Barney” Greenway explained that the images of the children show them playing while also exploring the systematic obedience that bassist Shane Embury refers to in the lyrics. “It shows our lack of power within the hierarchy,” he added.

Regarding the album cover, the vocalist explained: “The cover art specifically uses a white dove as its centerpiece, which, of course, is a common symbol of peace and cooperation. The dove was attacked with great violence (…) However, through the violence, you can see a symbol of equality in the blood on the dove's chest, which perhaps demonstrates, at least visually, that equality ultimately prevails. A positive among many negatives, like the album title itself, an oxymoron – a celebration of humanity, even in the mutilating jaws of negativity.”
